Nicky is a Primary School teacher and a trade union officer for the National Education Union. Her novels deal with modern themes, such as, human trafficking, child sexual abuse and inequality.
Nicky is a Brummie living in Coventry. The West Midlands take centre stage in her police procedural series featuring DI Amelia Barton and DI Jack Kent.
When Nicky isn’t writing, you are likely to find her cruising the cut on her narrowboat, Chanelle.
